We’re looking for a strategic, business-driven, hands-on VP of Finance to join us. This is a high-impact role for a visionary leader who will shape our financial strategy and partner closely with product, growth, and the executive team to drive business expansion, user monetization, and data-driven decisions.

Your role:

Loora is a fast-growing subscription-based consumer app company. We’re scaling rapidly and looking for a strategic finance leader to drive our financial operations and help guide our growth journey!

You will be responsible for building and leading the finance, accounting, and financial planning functions, as well as implementing operational and financial infrastructures that will enable the company to scale efficiently and sustainably.

This role includes designing and managing the company’s capital and debt structure to ensure liquidity, flexibility, and accelerated growth. The ideal candidate will be a true business leader — combining strong financial acumen with a data-driven, analytical mindset and a deep understanding of how to translate insights into strategic decisions.

Your day-to-day will be:

• Own financial strategy, planning, and operations, including annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, cash-flow management, and financial controls.
• Own FP&A: manage monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts; develop scenario models; and track key subscription metrics such as CAC, LTV, and churn.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and management reports that provide actionable insights and variance analyses (Budget vs. Actual) for leadership.
• Translate company strategy into measurable financial plans that align with growth goals and operational needs.
• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, closing processes, and coordination with external accountants.
• Partner with product and growth teams to strengthen monetization strategies and improve customer retention.
• Support fundraising efforts, including financial modeling, board materials, and capital/debt raise preparation.
• Join as a member of the executive leadership team and take part in board meetings.
• Play a key role in fundraising (equity and debt), while maintaining strong relationships with investors, lenders, and financial institutions, including evaluating and negotiating credit facilities or venture debt.
• Assist in preparing board presentations, investor updates, and regular reporting packages that communicate business performance and strategy.
